Thanks for reading my post and commenting, I appreciate it (you were my one pageview today, yay!) :) And thank you for bringing up what Natalie said about her paperless class and how there is a need for teacher/student meaningful interaction. It is definitely something that should be said about the importance of teachers. I also liked how Natalie mentioned that the one year she went completely paperless and electronic was the one year that scores went down because there was no interaction amongst the students and/or teacher. It shows that teachers are essential to education and to the learning process. I think what Natalie saw in her class was similar to when you said:

"Although technology isn’t going to fix all of the problems in our educational system, it is a step in the right direction because it allows teachers to differentiate instruction more effectively and is motivating for the students."

I think you hit the nail on the head.
Great post! can't believe this class is almost over!.Ms. Davishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03022504994389044577noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1702537787639079434.post-59758146135465279002011-11-27T16:06:00.675-08:002011-11-27T16:06:00.675-08:00This is great! These insights speak to his self-awareness and to his understanding of complex, global society. All too often the military view is a shared and myopic view of the complexity of a larger society. In comment to Melissa's post, it's crazy how schools are doing classes online! San Dieguito school district (I work at Torrey Pines & Carmel Valley), the high schools offer certain courses that are offered completely online and they don't have to come to school during that time. They're actually testing out this program, but I definitely don't agree with allowing everyone to take these courses, but I guess they're aiming to help students who are behind in credits to graduate as college prep.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04827711280246975662noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1702537787639079434.post-30768596464816322472011-11-07T19:18:56.054-08:002011-11-07T19:18:56.054-08:00Cool.
